Liverpool Loan Return of Steven Gerrard is Possible

Captain Steven Gerrard can come back to Liverpool on loan from Los Angeles Galaxy next year. The 25 year long relationship of Gerrard with the club will end this summer when he goes for a new job in Major League Soccer. The midfielder will always find a role at the club whenever he comes back from the USA according to major owner John Henry and boss Brendan Rodgers. That could be next winter when the MLS season is off according to Chief executive Ian Ayre.

Ian Ayre said he has said to Gerrard and his agents that they take Gerrard as their family member. He added his leaving at the end of the season does not mean it is his last season at Liverpool. Chief executive further explained they will continue regular negotiations with him and he hopes Gerrard will join Liverpool again on the long term basis. When Ayre was asked if this means a return on loan next January, he answered, it is possible and they talked with Gerrard about it.
