Tottenham Hotspur enter the race to sign West Ham defender Winston Reid

Tottenham Hotspur club is set to match Winston Reid's requests in an offer to beat opponents Arsenal to the West Ham United defender's signature. Reid's Upton Park contract will expire at the end of season. He has rejected to sign a new contract. He said that there is already a gentleman’s agreement in place with another club. Arsenal club is quick to sign Reid for a cut-cost £3 million. But West Ham would rather let the New Zealand international leave at the end of the season than offer him at a decreased rate.
